Old school neighborhood barbershop. No frills, no shampoo bowls or awkward scalp “massages” (I’m looking at you, Floyd’s). Great haircuts, friendly guys. In case you missed any of the other reviews, you can ONLY BOOK ONLINE ad they DONT TAKE PHONE APPOINTMENTS OR WALK-INS and they are CASH ONLY (as in no, you cannot pay with a credit card, Apple Pay, check, crypto, Monopoly money etc). Oh and be on time. They will charge you for showing up late or flaking (rightfully so, too).

A 2 weeks ago I had an appointment scheduled what would’ve been my 2nd time to the shop. The first time I had a pleasant experience. However, the second time I woke up the morning feeling very sick. Because I had an earlier appointment it was within the two hours of no cancelling, but I tried calling multiple times up to an hour before my appointment and after to explain how sick I was. They didn’t answer the phone a single time or return my call. The next day I had tested positive for covid and when I tried calling again there was still no answer. I left messages to get a call back and discuss not getting the $40 no show charge because I had covid and never received a call back. Edit: In Ollie’s response they tried to focus on the charge and their policy which is not the issue I was really disappointed in. I was disappointed that I called and left multiple messages and never once got a reply. I can understand in the end still not waiving the charge regardless of the reasoning. However, the fact this is the first barber I’ve ever been to that didn’t simply answer the phone or reply to a message was frustrating.

I’ve been seeing Cameron for almost 10 years which is crazy to think about. He’s an anazing barber, but a better person, I’m happy I found this place by dumb luck. The best barbershop in town, the atmosphere, the great convos over the years…if you’re having doubts, don’t. Hit the boys up to get you cleaned up you won’t regret it.
